For those of us who are unaware, and I am guilty of it until tonight, here are the salaries of our elected and appointed officials who make up the major players within our government. They include the President and Vice President, all the Senators and Representatives, and the Cabinet members that I could find. The number that they make annually is appalling, especially considering the financial crisis that our country is in and the rampant unemployment we have.
