About 45 days ago I wrote an article entitled “If They Come for Your Guns Do You Have a Responsibility to Fight?” At the time this article, from an obscure blogger, changed my world. Within days I had become part of something much bigger than I could have ever imagined. The post was featured on literally hundreds of websites, and to date has received millions of readers.
How did it happen? Well on January 3rd, people were still not saying what needed to be said and I suppose I was one of the first to say it. It is not about deer hunting and we are all covered by a second amendment which is about our rights to protect ourselves from tyranny. So I said it. If they come for your guns it is not only your right but your responsibility to fight. Yes, that includes firing upon them. It’s not about hunting deer. The second amendment is about hunting tyrants.
Since pushing the “publish” button, I have had literally hundreds of conversations with people who believe that tyranny is an unchecked virus within our own federal government. I get so many messages every day that I can literally not respond to all of them. So, today I want to talk about where we go from here.
It is a growing conception that we can not wait. While we sit and wait, our government continues an all out assault on our rights as free men and women of the United States of America. Many people believe that there is no peaceful alternative. Many people believe that we must organize and fight. Today I can offer no concrete set of actions but I do want to lay out some thoughts that I think need to be discussed.
First I need to tell you that I sincerely believe that the government is, in a twisted way, hoping that a small group of Patriots will organize and start a half-cocked rebellion. I think they realize that this can happen and also realize that it can strengthen their case for gun control. I would not put it past them to stage such an event.
I believe that a small, poorly planned rebellion will do us more harm than good. It will be easily suppressed and it will give the powers that be even more ammunition for a declaration of martial law. It is my belief that martial law, or a “police state,” is the end goal of this administration. You don’t have to look hard to see that they are preparing for it. As recently as two weeks ago the Reverend Jesse Jackson was even asking for it in his home town of Chicago.
We must understand that there are literally millions of people who have concluded that letters, petitions, peaceful demonstrations and elections are not working. They are in agreement that revolution is the only way to potentially fix this problem. But if a small group of 50 or even 500 people start the revolt, it is likely to go nowhere. We must develop a united front and we must go through proper channels. We can not skirt the law to try to uphold it.
The problem I see, once again, is the same problem that I witnessed 45 days ago. Everyone is waiting for someone to take the lead. So today I am going to offer to do that. With that said, I want to tell you that I am nothing more than a blogger. I don’t have any grand visions of being elected to any office. I am not a skilled military strategist. I am not an advanced “prepper” or survival expert. I am nothing special. I suppose the only thing truly special about me is that I am not afraid to speak my mind. I still understand that this is my God-given right as an American citizen.
I know full well that the first amendment in this country is currently an illusion. I know that writing this could get me arrested or killed. If you were to ask me if I was afraid I would simply answer that yes I am afraid, but I am more afraid of what will happen to our country if people do not begin to speak up.
I understand and follow the methods our current administration and lawmakers are using to take away our most basic rights. They can detain me indefinitely. If they choose to see me as an enemy of the state they can do worse. There will be no due process. It will not matter how many people support me. I can be made to disappear and become a non-factor. So why am I speaking about this?
Once again, it’s because someone has to. Until someone starts to speak of these things we have zero chance to change anything. We can’t fight the destruction of America with splintered cells of people who are afraid to raise their voices. We must be United. This is not negotiable.
I will not endorse an open attack (violent or non-violent) upon the federal government unless and until I feel like we have given them one last chance to represent us.
The first thing that “We the People” must do is set forth a list of our demands. This is our country. We need to pinpoint every change that we wish to see made and we must deliver these to the lawmakers. I am offering today to be that messenger. That is one thing that I can do, but I can not do it alone. I will need massive response. The only way that will happen is if this post goes viral like the post from 45 days ago. I can not guarantee that will happen, but I can guarantee it will happen if millions of people are truly in support of this revolution. Time will tell.
If we get little response then I will assume that my theories are wrong. The people will decide. I’ve been wrong before. It would not be the first time.
Here is what I need. I need people to list executive orders and laws that are in violation of our constitutional rights (list everything in the comments below). We will be demanding that these laws and executive orders be repealed.
I need open discussion of what we need to do with the people currently in office. Do we call for new elections? Can we literally remove them all? We are talking about more than Obama here. We have to understand that many people have been compliant (Republicans and Democrats) with the policies and actions that we too easily credit to Obama. This is not a problem isolated to one person. My thought is that they should keep their jobs if they start to work within the framework of the constitution. But if they do not then we will have to forcibly remove them.
Make no mistake the constitution is the law of this land, not public opinion.
We need to discuss policies (foreign and domestic) and cabinet appointments as well. We need to literally make a list of everything that needs to change. We can’t expect everything to change 
immediately but we must address the issues that are important to freedom. We must list things that are constitutionally based. In other words, I don’t like everything about my government but my major concerns are the things that blatantly violate the constitution. I have to focus on these things and not merely on my opinions. Unless we can constitutionally support our arguments we have no credibility.
What I would like to do is first gather volumes of ideas and then start putting them into a format that we can use. We can’t just start shooting politicians. That will get us nowhere but dead or in jail.
Let’s get our ideas out in the open. We will then gather again to vote on the constitutional relevancy of certain opinions before we submit them to the White House and both branches of our legislature. If they have our “constitutionally based” demands in print and choose not to respond in a manner that we feel conducive to change, then we will move forward to our only remaining option. It will be time bear arms against our government.
I feel like we have no grounds to call for the revolt until we first present our conditions to our elected officials.
I am simply offering to be the messenger but ultimately the success or failure depends on you. If this post falls dead in the water with 5 or even 50 comments then we are going nowhere.
This is the time for people of America to speak up if they really want to make changes in this government. Once we have all the terms and conditions ironed out we will formally petition our government. If that goes no where then we will look toward full use of our second amendment rights.
For now you must reject any new attempts to try to infringe on your second amendment rights and if you want to be involved in this “Think Tank” you must do three things for me:
- By all means I need to your ideas and comments below. Keep them constitutionally based. If you have no ideas or comments, at least let us know that you support us.
- I need you to join us on Facebook. Why is this important? Well did you notice that this is the first post on a brand new site? We have already been censored once and I need people to gather where we can inform them of developments.
- If you believe in this cause then you need to help us spread the word. Share it on your social networks or however you possibly can.
I will be watching the development of this post in regards to traffic and comments. I’m all in. I have made the offer. But again, if this ends up being a group of 5 or 50 people trying to push a revolution, we have nothing. The only way this works is if people unite right here and now. On an average blog post, it takes about 150-200 readers to generate 1 comment. If people can’t open their mouths this time then they will simply get what they deserve. I am putting myself out on a limb here. I will not fight for people who will not fight for themselves.
If you agree that this is the only way then you have to come out of hiding and get really loud now. You are allowed to disagree as well. This is America and I support your right to free speech. We have to know where we stand before we can make a decision to move forward.

I put myself out on a limb once before and people responded. Make no mistake, this is a frightening place to be. I have three beautiful girls and twins on the way. I am afraid for my safety and theirs, but my biggest fear is that they will have to live with the results of an American public resolved to cowardice. America must wake up. Apathetic no more! ok, so i do agree with the fact that it is time to organize, but i must say, doing it so publicly like this is a risk in it’s self, there needs to be a way to do something exactly like this…… under ground… the way things are now a days, some one from some local area is monitoring this infrastructure in many different ways, they are looking for key words, phrases, blog topics and subject matters. then they report it to their higher authority along with tags or ” red flags” on your IP addresses, which coincides with a MAC address to further monitor your activities. in other words, it needs to be more discreet. i.e. start using proxy servers, hide or eliminate your ip (there are ways of doing this) make it a daily habit to change your ip when you are participating in such activities, so on and so forth. we have to think like them, protect our selves, and above all, stop everything that is going on in a peaceful manner without many complications.
You are absolutely correct about this site being monitored. What we as Americans need to do is individually decide in our hearts what we will do if they come for our neighbor’s guns and tell you neighbor face to face. Stop telling the government your plans. People of the gun, by now it should be clear they are coming after our guns. Some of us are going to die when they do. Everyone needs to know when they start. I expect the government will seize control of all means of communication when it makes its move so we need to establish a way to signal when the move begins.
Mr government agents. We are not criminals. Will you be complicit in the greatest violation of civil rights in world history? Will you blindly follow orders to enforce an unconstitutional law? Will you forfeit what so many have suffered and died for and aid and abet the destruction of our great nation?
I am as Conservative as they come but this group is asking for trouble. Any good organizer would know better than to publicly state your intentions or ideas. You are putting many people at risk and in harms way. I have someone posting on my Facebook timeline that is over zealous with the writings of this group and fails too see the danger that lies within. She is of the impression that since no one is publicly posting about different groups and what plans they may have in regard the mess that is going on in our country, no one cares. Nothing could be further from the truth, as there are thousands preparing for whatever may come. If you were in a poker game would you show your hand before placing a bet? Of course not!! This should be no different especially since your attempt at leadership could get innocent people hurt or killed.
True leaders never show their hand nor do they openly and willingly expose their plan or intent to the enemy. You are a danger to the people following you and I urge you to stop before you have blood on your hands that cannot be washed off.

Ann, first off our “leader” as you call him has not posted any plan. He has posted other groups plans which he doesn’t condone. This thread was for one thing, and that was to get everyone’s grievances against the government together so we could compile a list to take to court, however with recent developments we have realized court is probably not going to happen because of the coming actions of two other groups. People will get hurt, and will get killed, because anyone who believes we will get our country back by talking sense into the politicians who have worked so hard to destroy it is stupid, naive, or both. That approach has been proven wrong for decades now. People need to talk openly so we can link up and gain strength in numbers and know who we can meet up with for support when things go really bad in a few months. If you think the answer is to be silent and start planning at that point, you will be one of the casualties because you have no network. NEWSFLASH: due to the Patriot Act, everything you say is monitored… on the phone, texts, e=mails. So maybe you should move your negativity and “armchair warrior” advice somewhere else.
Ann, The enemies of our nation, from within as well as from outside are not idiots and they need to know we are not either. No longer are we willing to be “sheeple” to their prodding and no longer are we willing to be silent as to our objectives to keep and retain our national birthright to be free men and women. I offer the following suggestion to the think tank:
Repeal the 16th amendment (federal income tax). The whole centralized government in DC would be dismantled with this single act. No funds other than for military and they have to get this money from the states. This was the original set up. Following is a list of things that result from this action.
1) 10th amendment states rights would be restored
2) Aid to countries that hate us would end.
3) Obamacare would be unfounded, therefore useless,
4) The blue state/red state paradigm would end
5) Socialism would end
6) All unconstitutional government departments would dissolve (EPA, DeptOd Education, etc)
7) UN would be unfunded
8) the Federal Reserve would be dissolved.
Virtually every problem we have could be solved. Centralized power in DC would end entirely and states rights would again be reinstated.
The people of the US lived for 136 years without paying Federal income tax. In 1913 this changed with the addition of the 16th amendment.
Many wars have been won by cutting off funds of the enemy.
I suggest a wide spread refusal to pay taxes as a non violent means of revolution.

I do not think we have to repeal the 16th amendment to address the outline you addressed above, pertaining to the Federal income tax. But would add instead, to go after the (ABA) BAR Associations in all 50 states, pertaining to the Federal income tax and pertaining to the Federal Reserve and that would take care of the Banks. As they are all in violations under the law, pertaining to the Constitutional laws, regarding the United States. If you address the ABA BAR Association, then you free the lawyers and the judges who right now can not speak on your behalf. Because they all took an Oath to violate our constitutional laws, as agreeing to follow the Oath under a (British Atoned Registry) under a “Foreign Power” for the ABA BAR Association here in America. You have to look back at out history to understand this. Why do you think we are in debt of over 20 Trillion dollars? The fact is, its about the corporations under them who rule and who rule under them.This is whats also called, “Same-Hands-Control” under the law. As addressing “Intrinsic Fraud” against you, and us in America. Violating our civil rights under the laws in court, as addressing the U.C.C.Codes in court, pertaining to you and us, in America. Knowing, we are not part of their corporations under them, or part of the states corporations either. We, as we the people, fall under the common laws as not being part of the corporations, (U.C.C. codes). But they do not want us to learn this, or our children either. As I have learned by reading the laws. You have heard the term or statement as, “Straw-men”. Well that statement has true facts to it, pertaining to you under the law. This is why many of you do not win in court. The lawyers, do not address the courts for you, but instead, address the courts under them. Sorry, but its true. That’s why a lawyer will not address the court under the common laws for you. Anyway, I hope I can help!

It would be my hope that the fight against our tyrannical federal regulations and rules could be won diplomatically. Think about using a much greater medium of exposure than this. You have to get someone in media to nationalize the specific social and economic changes for which your self-appointment to being messenger wants. Upholding Constitutional rights in the Blog~o~sphere will get you no place – otherwise nobody than the few conservative web surfers like myself that stumble upon your writings will ever know you exist.
Try media outlets like TV or radio, political think tanks and lastly (and least) – current politicians (there are suprisingly some who would be on board with you), they would be the best recruits to spread your beliefs and real fears. Rand Paul comes to mind and he likes to ruffle feathers on all those dodo birds in the beltway.
Think about it, this government … at the sole discretion of shemale AG Janet Reno murdered and burned 70+ women, men and children in Waco for being isolationists, Ruby Ridge – same deal, they have given guns to Mexican drug cartels, they support Al-Quada in-directly by funding the Muslim Brotherhood insurgents that kill our soldiers in radical Islam states …. what do you expect they will do to someone trying to overthrow them from under their nose by himself? The concern over losing our liberties is shared by the majority of Americans, merely by the fact that gun sales have skyrocketed since Obama took office.
People are readying themselves, but wolves in the government are sly enough to find ways of going to your house and disarming them… they already started this month, with the [explanation] that they are disarming people who do not pass the recent legislation on gun control!
If you see law enforcement doing this to your neighbor, your first thought is, “I wonder what he did wrong” vs. “They must be disarming him!”.
My fellow Americans, please be careful, especially if you choose to march [with weapons] as the wolves will deliberately place [loose cannons] in your midst to fire at police, etc, only to leave YOU to blame, giving them more support to take away OUR guns.

I am no linguist, I am no scholar, I am NOT the be all, end all of warfare. What I am is a Father, a Christian, and a Veteran… in that order. I am also the Commanding officer of my militia unit, The Westmoreland County Militia, Regulators 1st Battalion.. with my people placing their lives in my hands, in hopes that I will keep them safe and ultimately lead them to victory and someday a better life than what is being presented to them now. This is a very large responsibility and one I do NOT take lightly. I have lost ALOT of sleep because of it. I promise you.
What I want to discuss is something that I NEVER see being mentioned on this board or any like it. It is something that NEEDS to be discussed. ESPECIALLY now.. as we are on the brink of something that NO ONE here is prepared for..I don’t care WHAT type of training or warfare experience you may have.
People are getting awfully itchy to start the fight. People WANT to take our country back. People are TIRED of being scared, for themselves and their families. As militias, we have trained. We have prepared. We have stocked up on food and ammo and other things we think we will need. We have gathered intelligence and continue to do so. We have networked with other units, we have prepared our bug out locations. But there’s one thing I feel people haven’t prepared for..because the truth of the matter is you cant prepare for this particular “thing”.
It is the consequences of our actions. What we are about to embark upon is going to be what will probably be the most EPIC civil war in history. What we are about to do isn’t just going to change what happens here, but will most likely change the entire world as we know it.
There have been uprisings all over the world as of late, there is no questioning that. But not ONE of those uprisings has involved the type of sheer firepower involved that this one will. The United States is unquestionably the most heavily armed country in the world. Our Military is the best the world has to offer, and our populace is the most well armed and well trained known to man. The sheer bloodiness of this coming conflict will be mammoth to say the very least..
This “war”, should it happen, will be like nothing ever witnessed by humanity. And there will be a heavy price paid for that. You people NEED to think about that and understand that before you go marching off with intentions of blowing away the nearest federale’ or Blue hat you see.
To quote Mel Gibson in the Patriot, (a VERY powerful movie you should all watch, or watch again).. This will be a war fought in our OWN back yards. In FRONT of our children. You NEED to understand the ramifications of that. As a father, and a husband..this weighs VERY heavily on me. I hope it does you as well..because if not it damn well better.
This wont be an overnight undertaking, this will be no two month Gulf war, This war will drag on for YEARS, and will COMPLETELY change the face of the United States as we know it. Some people say we NEED that change.. And I agree to a point… But are you ready for your hometown, where you grew up and played as a child.. to be turned into a 3rd world bombed out S#%t hole like Mogadishu? Like Iraq? Like Afghanistan? Are you prepared to see EVERYTHING you’ve ever known destroyed in the blink of an eye? All in the name of “Freedom”?
Who will rebuild all that? Who will heal the scars we and our enemies will burn into our children’s psyche’s? What will come out of the ashes of this great “war”? Will it be something new and beautiful? Or something darker.. Perhaps by engaging in this endeavor we are unwittingly ushering in the dreaded New World Order as we have come to know it.
There’s no way of knowing. Thats the cold hard truth. And NO ONE will tell me otherwise. And anyone who tries to tell you otherwise is a liar. That is a fact. Know this though.. NO ONE will come to our aid.. We have burned our bridges with pretty much the entire world. We ARE a hated nation. We have enjoyed this wonderful lifestyle our whole lives on the backs of the rest of the world and you’d better believe they wont forget it.
So.. it’s just US vs.THEM. in a fight to the finish. This will be a war for ALL humanity and for the future of the human race as we know it. AGAIN.. YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THIS. The whole world is watching..waiting.. for that first shot to be fired, for that ONE shot will change the future of the entire world as we know it. Are YOU prepared for that? Because if it is indeed YOU who fires that first shot.. good or bad..you will go down in history as the person who changed the world. Think about it. Think LONG and HARD about it. And then.. come to me and tell me how “prepared” you really are.
I have only scratched the surface of things you need to THINK about before we do this.. But hopefully this gets you thinking seriously about the consequences of what so many people seem “eager” to do.

However, I do agree with most of what you said. I do not agree that the rest of the world hates us. How does that fit in with people wanting to immigrate here? I believe that anyone who is beyond themselves realizes how much liberty and comfort Americans enjoy. I also believe that most Americans will not sit on their hands and let this bogus government push us around.

Ranee, Your comment begs the obvious question what does the government hope to accomplish by precipitating this action. I haven’t heard his speech firsthand but supposedly Biden made a big deal yesterday about this assault on our civil rights being only the beginning. Andrew Cuomo has already set the stage for a sort Religious war in New York state that establishes a bounty on gun owners.
Mr government agent I assume you are reading this. Do you really want to be accessory to this? We the people of the gun didn’t bring this on. If you have any influence at all with your masters make them see they need to declare amea maxima culpa before this goes much farther.

As a faithful American and a patriot, I can say from the militaries side, ( and by this I speak on my own behalf, and in no way condone my opinion as that of the military) that I am in and completely agree with a lot of what has been said.
As this is a huge issue, firing off shots won’t help. As our forefathers, we have to take the diplomatic route first.
I would say more but as I am in the military I have a big job to do, so I will post later more thoughts on the issue. Because guaranteed, when this all does start rolling faster, I’ll be on my way out of the military and back in civilian life in the middle of it all and will have to pick a side and I’d rather be on the side protecting the same constitution that I swore an oath upon death to uphold.

Lots of talk above, but the bottom line is that if they come for your guns and get them, you wont have one. Action is required. Bury one NOW, with plenty of ammo. Even an inexpensive or home brew slam bang will do. We will never be completely disarmed. Oh, and “We The People” are talking here, who cares if the government sees it.
It is fundamental to spot non-chemical products.
